Inspired

After so many mistakes I still care

Change only happens out of necessity or despair

I am gone now but am I forgotten

Started at the top and settled for the bottom

Found out the hard way now I’m doing well

Punishment is a joke just a mat inside a cell

Lost my freedom but not forever

Learned my lesson time to do better

Sometimes life just doesn’t seem fair

Started to change only out of despair

My time as an inmate will soon expire

Now I will change because now I’m inspired
