Freedom House – A Back2Life Project Program

Freedom House: A Path Forward After Service and Incarceration

Transitioning back into society after military service or incarceration can be overwhelming. For many, the challenge isn’t a lack of desire to do better — it’s a lack of support, stability, and opportunity. Freedom House, a program of the Back2Life Project, will exist to help bridge that gap.

Freedom House

Freedom House will be designed to support veterans and justice‑impacted individuals who need a stable foundation as they rebuild their lives. Whether returning from war or reentering society after incarceration, the path forward often looks similar: safe housing, guidance, accountability, and community.

At its core, Freedom House will be about second chances and shared humanity. The program will focus on helping individuals secure stable housing while connecting them to counseling, employment resources, life‑skills support, and reentry services. These supports are critical for addressing trauma, rebuilding confidence, and creating long‑term independence.

Freedom House also recognizes that many veterans and formerly incarcerated individuals face overlapping challenges — including mental health struggles, substance use, employment barriers, and social isolation. By offering wraparound support in a structured, supportive environment, Freedom House helps participants move forward with dignity and purpose.

This work will be made possible through community partnerships, volunteers, and supporters who believe that people are more than their pasts. Freedom House is not about handouts — it’s about helping people get back on their feet and stay there.

At Back2Life Project, we believe transformation happens when hope, structure, and opportunity come together. Freedom House exists to make that possible — one life at a time.
